As one of the world’s top football managers, it was only right that Jose Mourinho started a partnership with Jaguar.
The Manchester United manager has gained a reputation over his managerial career as being one of the finest to ever grace the game, thanks to his tactical nous and extreme passion for the game. In a new film, ‘The Special One’ takes to the streets of Manchester in the XJ luxury saloon and he reveals what it takes to be special.
As an ambassador for Jaguar, Jose has been able to experience first-hand the quality that the brand possesses, and was one of the first people to drive the best-selling F-PACE ahead of the SUV’s launch last year.
Mourinho was able to master high-speed drifting with the crossover at JLR’s extreme testing centre in Arjeplog, Sweden, and as a lover of cars, he appreciates Jaguar’s quality. On football, Mourinho discussed his managerial position at Manchester United, saying:
“I have got the biggest job in the country, one of the biggest jobs in the world, and a job that I can imagine everyone in the world would like to have, but it’s a difficult one. Every minute I have is dedicated to my job, and my career has been rich, beautiful, but I have a big problem, I always want the next win.”
As the top-end of Jaguar’s saloon division, the XJ is an impressive vehicle and at a starting price of £58,690, the premium saloon is an excellent choice.
