Autocar’s Editorial Director Jim Holder has called Jaguar’s sports saloon, the XE, ‘a game changer’ at the publication’s award ceremony.
Using Jaguar’s latest Lightweight Aluminium Architecture and the latest range of Ingenium engines, the XE is the most efficient non-hybrid car in the saloon market, with emissions as low as 99 g/km CO2 and up to 75mpg, which helps the XE maintain superb residual value.
This latest accolade joins the 41 other major awards that the XE has won since its release in April 2015 and only adds to the reputation that the XE has garnered over the past year.
With a wide range of trim levels and engines available, you can get the XE you want and starting from £26,990 for the SE model fitted with a 2-litre four-cylinder petrol, they are affordable too.
Built on a lightweight aluminium frame, the XE is incredibly strong and this helps with the performance aspect of the car, as it has a 51:49 weight distribution to make sure the handling is a good as it can be.
With Torque Vectoring, Intelligent Driveline Dynamics and Adaptive Surface Response to help with all terrains and conditions, the XE is perfectly capable of taking you everywhere in control and comfort.
The interior is in line with the rest of the car in its high quality finish and fitted with top end materials and technologies, it isn’t hard to see why the XE saloon is liked so much.
